Doing our Part for the Community:
On your behalf the Palm Beach Bowling Association has contributed $2000 each to three organizations close to bowling.
We have long supported BVL,(Bowers to Veterans Link), with our annual golf tournament and ball raffle at the county tournament. David McClosky presented the check directly to the VA hospital in Rivera Beach so that all the money will remain in PBC.
USBC has been associated with Bowl for The Cure for many years. Bowl for the cure is associated with The Susan G Koman breast cancer organization.
A check was presented to John Manis made out to The ALS Association Walk to Defeat ALS. John's wife Susie is afflicted with this disease. From time to time Verdes Tropicana puts on tournaments with the proceeds going to this cause. Check their web site periodically to find out when the next event will take place.
